A great place for picnic  swimming or just to be grilling out. There are paddle boats canoes and kayaks for rent. I am not sure what the price is to rent those. You can also do some fishing if you wish, there are special area's for all of these. It is a great place for a family outing.

McDowell Dam is a wonderful place for family picnics and outings. They offer canoe and paddle boat rentals. The swimming area is safe and is easy to access. The restrooms and showers are clean. The trails are great for walking and running.

I love this place,  hiking trail, walking path, and very peaceful!  Saw a stork for the first time in my life here.

Nice place for family outings, lots of shelters and stationary grills, swimming options, rent paddle boats,canoes and kayaks. FUN FUN 🌞
