I ordered some cakes from Mcgavin's Bakery for my mothers 75th Birthday Party.  What I ordered, three weeks in advance was a nine inch chocolate champagne cake and a seven inch pink champagne cake. I asked to have them frosted with just white butter cream and coconut.  I told them my brother would be picking them up.  When he got there one of the cakes wasn't ready, he waited and left with them.  I had told them I would be decorating them at the time of the party.  First of all the cakes were frosted very poorly.  They chocolate champagne cake could be seen through the very thin layer of cream colored buttercream, the other was white buttercream.  I assemled the cakes and decorated them.  They looked lovely.  However, my mom was so excited to try the pink champagne cake, but when I cut into it, it was white...she was disappointed.  But, the cake did taste delicious regardless, I'm just very saddened mom didn't get to try the pink champagne she was so looking forward to, were the cakes worth $78?  No.  Would I recommend them, for the price I paid, No.  Would I recommend them for just a yummy cake that doesn't matter what it looks like?  Sure

Cookies were dry but that wasn't the main issue. I bit into one and there was paper baked into it!
