First time ever in Albany and we stepped into this sweet little Irish pub. Nice homey feel as u walk in. Greeted by the bartender as soon as we walked in. She was also very helpful on giving us insights to the city and what to check out. The burger and shoestring fires were excellent. Not sure what they season their burgers with but....wow....yummy all around!! A definite stop if your in the area looking for an Irish Pub to chill at.
Just stopped in for drinks, but after seeing and smelling the food. Couldn't help but order some and it was amazing. The place was packed but the staff was amazing and attentive. The bar itself had an authentic Ireland pub feel.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
The place was OK and I ordered some classics. I didn't like their poutine very much but some reviews say other food on the menu were delicious, so make sure to order those. Service was great as well.
I love the food, service, employees, location and vibe. Really cool place and tasty food. I definitely recommend and come here to eat when I can Vegetarian options: They have great salads and other vegetarian foods, but the salads are what I eat most. Kid-friendliness: Mu son is a toddler and is always treated so great here and it is a great place to eat with him, especially outside seating. Parking: We park on the street at meter parking slightly up the hill, in front of Family court. Metered parking is free weekends. Wheelchair accessibility: I am not in a wheelchair but the outside seating is very spacious for wheelchair. I am not sure about inside. Dietary restrictions: I am trying to drink less lol and they have a really good non-alcoholic beer here. Tastes good!
One thing I love about an Irish pub is getting the shepherds pie. This is not THAT kind of Irish pub. The menu is more American. That said... I got the brisket and vegetable soup and a Reuben sandwich. Both very good. My sister got a burger which she said was very good. Staff was friendly and efficient. A very casual and relaxed atmosphere.
Food and service were not bad.
Food was average. Outside dining was ok. Wasn't the cleanest. Table was severely lopsided and unstable. I waited an extra 30 minutes since the waiter forgot to put in my order, and failed to follow-up with customers in general. Instead of being truthful, he deflected the blame to other staff members. He did not receive any gratuity.
One of the best Irish pubs I’ve been to. The food was amazing so returned the following night too. Great service and festive atmosphere!
A must stop before a show at the Palace. Drink prices are very affordable and the atmosphere can't be beat. The food is also very goodFood: 5/5
Cute little pub, I picked it randomly off google just to find a spot to have dinner while I was in town and the cauliflower wings and drinks were excellent!
