Ordered a mower online that looked great and had a good price. Did not hear anything for a few days. Decided to call and see what's up. They told me that the mower was not in stock for that price and they supposedly emailed me that. I received no such email. The rep claims I will be refunded... we will see. Typical bait and switch Poor communication.

Recently purchased an Ariens snowblower from McHenry. Pricing was aggressive, the best I could find on the internet. Free liftgate service was included where others charge upward of $50. Although shipping was delayed a couple days due to bad weather, the unit arrived via freight OK. Would glady due business with them again.

My first and last experience with this company was a horrible one. I brought in my working just fine Honda mower for a oil change and blade replacement. It took almost two weeks to get it back and when I started it up at home it was blowing a huge amount of smoke. I let it run for a while and it got worse. (I never had any issue with the smoke before I let them service the mower) In fact, they started outside and no smoke was visible. They called me and said the mower head has to be removed to diagnose the problem for $90. Then any additional repair cost. How is it not the responsibility of Mchenry Power to at least cover some of the cost seeing that they were the last ones to service the engine? They wont even cover any of it saying they did nothing wrong. The engine just got bad from transporting it to and from the repair center. Do yourself a big favor and NEVER use them to service your equipment. Big mistake by bringing it to them. We just moved to the area and thought I would give a local business a try. How's that a nice welcome to the neighborhood business for you. If I could give a zero to them I would!

Purchased a new snowblower with a factory mistake. Mistakes happen i guess. Mchenry power made me jump through hoops to get service work done because I was an hour away. Would do nothing. I called ariens direct and got a service # and set up the repair along with pick up and delivery with a local dealer. I was unaware they carried this brand and didn't want to do lowes and such for the service end. I live in wisconsin and wanted a wisconsin product. I feel they should have set this stuff up instead of me as it is disheartening enough to have problems with a new purchase. Just lazy and unwilling. Sad. No more...
