Had my taxes done here this year. They did an okay job for me and my wife only they did not setup for direct deposit as asked and I got checks instead. No big deal. My mother, who passed away last year had her taxes done here for several years. I had them do her taxes this year, and the forms/filing was all okay but they made two careless mistakes which have caused me a lot of problems and run around with the State and the IRS. First they entered the account number for direct deposit incorrectly so IRS issued a paper check and mailed it. The second mistake is that they used my deceased mother's old address and the postal service doesn't forward government issued checks. In short, I have already spent hours on the phone, on hold, downloading and mailing forms and the refund will be delayed by eight weeks or more. Not happy. I gave the accountant two phone calls in regards to this. I was friendly and offered her every opportunity to help. She was completely unapologetic and matter of fact. The best thing she said was "I wish I had more insight on this." I wish she did too, and wish she had been more thorough when gathering information. After spending top dollar to have them file two sets of taxes I was shocked that she wouldn't have offered to make a phone call or two on my behalf. All she did was tell me to call the IRS. Thanks a lot. For nothing. Gave three star rating because the accounting was done correctly.

We have used McNurlin & Associates for years and are extremely happy with all they have done for us.
