North Carolina has socialized liquor stores. The prices are arbitrarily high and the service makes you think you are visiting the DMV. I happily cross the border and go to state line liquor in Fort Mill, SC. They have a great selection and great service. I despise North Carolinas ABC stores and the lack of competition they promote.

Quick friendly service.

I still don't understand why NC has these and the hours they are open. They also aren't open on Sunday--which is inconvenient.
