This place was a joke. I went in with a severe sunburn all over my body with blisters filled with fluid. It took a long time to get in, and the lady working the front desk called me up multiple times because she couldn't get my paperwork right, she needed help from other workers. It was about an hour until I finally went back. Immediately, the older female doctor was rude and condescending, which I can only assume was because of my looks, I have long hair and a beard. She tried to me feel like I was stupid for getting the sunburn in the first, but it wasn't my fault, a PA had just recently prescribed me anti-inflammatory medication and didn't think to tell me "sensitivity to sunlight" was a side-effect, even though she knew i work outside, but I digress. She proceeded to look me over hurriedly and told me I have bad sunburn, but I shouldn't worry because it won't scar. She then sent me on my way with a prescription for a sunburn cream. She reminded me that as long as I stayed out of the sun that I would be fine, the whole visit lasted maybe 5 minutes. I left and went to purchase the cream, it cost me $100 out of pocket, and it lasted for literally one application. I decided to take a week off of work to stay in bed and recover. During this week my right leg became severely infected and painfully swollen, from my knee to my foot. I contemplating going to the doctor but i couldn't afford it after purchasing the cream. Eventually the infection subsided, which I can only thank my good health for, and the blisters went away soon after. But what came in its place was scarring, all over, scars that i have to this day over a year later. Thanks to this place I have scars covering the tops on my arms, my stomach, my chest, my thighs and my upper back, even though the doctor reassured me that my burn wasn't severe enough to scar. My body covered with white patches and bumps all over, along with sun-spots, it's embarrassing to take my shirt off, it looks like I have a disease. And if that wasn't bad enough they sent me a bill for over $400 because the lady at the front desk messed up my insurance information, even though I have double coverage through both of my parents. So, over $500 dollars later I'm left with permanent scarring and lifetime of distrust for medical institutions. If you were thinking about going here for anything, don't. Go to the ER instead where you can be helped by professionals that actually want to help you rather than this place that just wants your cash. As a footnote, I'm 90% the sunburn cream she gave me is what caused the infection, it sat on my skin and was never fully absorbed so it ended up creating a barrier on my skin that felt like dried hair gel. I imagine it sealed in the bacteria that caused the infection because the blisters couldn't air out or drain. Nowhere on the instructions did it say to wash it off after applying nor did the doctor think to mention it either, and I sure wasn't going to go out of my way to shower with how painful and exposed the blistering was. Honestly this experience was sickening, It's incredibly hard not to get angry thinking back my experience. I paid them for bad service and a lifetime of scarring when that money could have gone to someone that could have actually helped me, thanks. I felt like I was an annoyance that they had to put up with so they can get the payout from my insurance company. And sadly, I think my summation isn't far from the truth. Please learn from my mistake and go to the real ER.

The care is awesome, but they took money from my bank without my 'consent'. They made me give them a card and sign to authorize that payments could be taken from it, when i asked about it I was told 'it's just for convenience, we will contact you about your bill later and give you the option to use your card.' Before I got a bill, they took the money right out of my account.

After my first bad experience a year ago this one restored my faith. Nurse and NP and Dr were all friendly and empathic. It was not a long wait and they thanked us for coming in and let us know they would be checking in on us.

We are from out of state and they were great with us! From office staff to X-ray to nurse and doctor, we received timely compassionate, knowledgeable, professional care. Even with a broken arm, we left smiling.
