I've been using the Medicine Chest for years. They are the best! It really feels like a community pharmacy. The recognize my name, they are helpful with questions, things are ready on time, they staff is pleasant in person and on the phone and they often go above and beyond by mailing me my prescription if I can't get there to pick it up. I used to work next door but now live/work in another area, but I continue to use the Medicine Chest because you don't get this kind of service elsewhere.

My youngest son was very sick and when I pulled into The Medicine Chest on the way home from the doctor it was clear that he wasn't going to physically be able to come into the pharmacy with me to get his perscription filled. I made The Medicine Chest aware of my situation and they actually came out to the car to help get the prescription started and even came back out to let me know when it was done. They also worked quickly to fill the prescription understanding his immediate needs at the time. Their small act of kindness was truly appreciated and made it so much easier on my son who was struggling. I would give them 100 stars if I could.

I used to get all of my meds from CVS pharmacy. Like many others, I would wait in outrages lines, have my scripts mysteriously disappear or get an automated call at an inconvenient time about my meds. I should have switched the the Med Chest sooner. If you like a friendly staff that is ALWAYS on time, remembers your name, is organized and is flexible, I highly recommend the expert staff at the Med Chest. Even after moving from McLean, I make the long drive because nobody does it better.
