We used Mehdi Law for a property sale last year. There were some sticky circumstances that arose during the start of the process, and we figured it better safe than sorry so we hired an attorney. Had piece of mind through the sale, and were taken care of by the practice. Appreciate the hard work.

Our company uses the Mehdi law firm. We don't have many legal issues, mainly it pertains to leasing issues which they have handled with ease each time something arises. They take pride in their work and provide their legal services in a very timely manner.

I was referred to Scott Au by his wife (my mortgage broker). I spoke with him over the phone and figured it would be a good choice since I was a referral. The first call with him was very pleasant, but after that he was very unresponsive and unprofessional. He would not return any phone calls or emails. I had to ask his wife for his email to send him my status certificate because he would never respond. 

During our meeting with Scott, his associates kept interrupting us and telling him to hurry up because they wanted to go out. I found that extremely unprofessional.

After our closing, nothing was transferred into my name from the previous owner. It has been a month and now I'm personally trying to get everything sorted out which should have been done before the closing date through the lawyers.

The icing on the cake was Scott recommending himself as a divorce lawyer right after my fiancée and I signed the papers to our first house. It was certainly not the right time to recommend his DIVORCE services.

I would strongly recommend finding another law firm if you're looking for a professional and responsive service.

Although the initial phone call was pleasant,   Scott Au is essentially unresponsive thereafter.       He doesn’t respond to buyer’s lawyer and myself.     Everything no matter how minor,  requires one month to fix  (in my case,  one typo in name) and I had to go to his office and supervise him to change the typo.  To find out what he has done,  I had to contact my buyer in order to find out from his lawyer.      My case has dragged out for 3.5 months despite there is a draft agreement completed by another lawyer and Scott didn't have to change a single word.     Save yourself from aggravations and stay away.     This guy is only good with PR and he charges by the minute.

I used Scott during a custody dispute with my ex. It wasn't a good experience (because of my ex) by the legal process wasn't so bad, and I attribute that to Scott, so thank you!
