Update: After ownership changed, the decor and the menu changed. Inside used to be very no frills so the new tables/curtain dividers are an upgrade.  The dosa is not as thin as the previous iteration and instead more compact and thicker, also there is no more egg dosa which was my favourite and now there is omelette dosa which I don’t like nearly as much. The chutneys are a bit more consistent now, but I do miss the old style of dosa. — Previous ownership: Delicious Dosa perfection. So crisp and flavourful and generously sized. I enjoyed both the egg dosa and masala dosa. The coconut chutney was good but not standout. If you pay cash you get a slight discount which is nice.

Very good Idli and dosa. But there puri is very BAD. Dry and simply bland, check the picture. It came without the Saag!!! How we suppose to eat that raw puri? It happened twice with togo orders, so not ordering that item ever! Please check your orders, they sometimes forget to put chutneys, sambar, or No Saag with there undercooked saag puri. Recommended but taste and service can definitely be improved.

Awesome Breakfast and outstanding Dinner options, with some privacy for families to come and enjoy the food. Cravers of sweet should try their -“Fruit and Cake salad” to enjoy every bit.Food: 5/5

The food was good. Not great. I ordered an omelette dosa which tasted good enough, but I could not taste the egg. The big issue I had with this place was the cleanliness. The table clothes were stained with food. It might be a good idea to not use table clothes. When the waiter brought a container of sugar for the tea,I don’t think he washed his hands because the container was stained all around with food. I even had to wipe down my credit card when he returned it to me because it had food stains on it. With all the other options on this street,I would not recommend this place.

Well the place got renovated and management is new, but the taste was good just like before. Also they had separate private section for family Food: 5/5

Mehrab Restaurant is a great place to go for delicious south Indian food. The masala dosa and vada are highly recommended, and you had a great experience there despite some negative reviews. We even went back twice within a five-day period, which is a testament to the quality of the food. The restaurant seems to have made improvements, as the food was amazing and the place was clean. The dosa was also generous in quantity and crisp, and the vada was outstanding. Overall,  Mehrab Restaurant is worth trying out for its delicious south Indian food.  I would definitely be visiting it again.

Went to Mehraab with the family to have brunch today. Very faulty,disgusting and rude customer service. There were hair on each  of the food items. No one from the restaurant apologized or didn't feel sorry for their carelessness. The old guy who seems to be Muslim person said he is the owner of the restaurant but very sorry  to say instead of being sorry or being nice he was arrogant and speaking rude with female. None of the staff seems to be polite or decent enough to take care of this issueunhygienic food and unwashed spoons and responsibility. Will be reporting to the Food Inspection Bureau. They charged for the food which we didn't even eat after seeing the hair on the food items. My daughter was about to puke seeing unhygienic food. Never going to visit again.

Had dinner with my friends at this place ordered mutton fry and chicken 65. Was super delicious and was made by chef Ammar. He gave us good taste and service. Would recommend this place. Enjoy your dinner at this place and do try the mutton fry by chef Ammar.
