Buyer beware this Auctioneer has no clue what thay are doing. Very unprofessional. I won a auction from Mel Davis on 7/05/23 and after a few days of not receiving a invoice from them, like normal, I tried reaching out via phone number. The gentleman that answered didn't know how to run my card  to pay for my items and stated Mel was in the hospital.  I then told the gentleman I will call back. After a week and several attempts of calling them with no answer and a full voice mail, I tried getting in contact with them via text and email. I eventually got a reply via email requesting me to send them a photo copy of my driver's license front and back  along with my CC information.  It was at this point I declined her request and told her I wont send my personal information.  I then asked to do it over the phone or send me an invoice to pay,  like a normal auction house. It was at this point Mel declined and canceled the transaction.  Then she leaves negative feedback on my profile for none payment.

I have purchased many lots from this auction house. I am invoiced promptly, usually the day of the auction. I choose to pay cash so I respond to the email the day I'm going to show. Never a problem.

Cleared up a location I had on culebra,very professional and efficient, will use him again always

Been going to Mel's auctions for years...always great service and excellent auctions!
