We have been so pleased with our home on Nettles Island that Mel-RY built for us in 2011. The whole process was efficient from start to completion. We sat down with their designer and agreed on all specifications, two bedrooms, two baths, on demand water heater, metal roof, doors, cabinets, flooring, High impact windows. We left for home, Mack sent e-mails with pictures to us as the stages of construction evolved. We never came down until completion, I carried Mary across the front threshold and the house was everything we had desired, and more! It is now August of 2017, we have had no problems, and the many visitors that have gone thru the home have also had Mack and his staff build their home, and they feel the same way. Mack just added an office to replace a small porch. This project also was completed while we were up north and the results were equally outstanding.

My husband and I had been in contact with Mack, and his Mel-Ry team, for about 5 years before we were ready to build our retirement home. He was always available to discuss our ever changing design plans and encouraged us to view several houses he had already built, where we not only got to view the quality of workmanship but in some cases we got to speak to the owners of the homes.  We felt very confident that Mel-Ry Construction would build us a quality home.  Construction was completed a year ago and we are very happy  with our new home.  We have encountered a few small problems, during the past year, but Mack is only a phone call away, and has responded immediately to any issues. My Mom & I had a house built by Mel-Ry in 2015.  I managed the construction with Mel-Ry from the Chicago area 1200 plus miles away. The project couldn't have gone better.  The house was completed on schedule in a little over 5 months.  The few minor issues that arose during construction were handled quickly, fairly, and professionally.  The punch list was very minimal and completed within a week. I would highly recommend Mel-Ry.  Mack and his staff work very hard and well to give their customers what they want/expect.

In 2011, after visiting with a friend for years, We purchased 1321 Nettles Blvd. At the time there was a park model home on the lot which made for a comfy vacation home. With  retirement on the horizon, we decided to build our retirement home on the lot. Starting in 2013 with Mack and Dick from Mel-Ry builders, the process began. After many design meetings  with Dick, the house started construction in May 2015. We were in New Jersey during the construction, but with daily updates and pictures, it seemed like we were there. Mack is great, always ready with an answer, congenial, and his team really focuses on the finished product. we took possession of our dream home in January of 2016, and couldn't be happier!!

We were building two homes at the same time, one in Jensen Beach Florida and one in Michigan and both the same size.  We took possession of our two homes within two weeks of each other and were in Michigan during all of the building time table.  We spent about 80% of our time dealing with the Michigan build as compared to our Mel-Ry construction in Florida.  Mack and team are just amazing to work with, proactive in solving issues, with a finished product that was better than expectation.  We are very happy with our home in Florida, less so with our Michigan property.  Mel-Ry is the best!
