Great taco place, and they have a clean and well maintained place. Service was fast and friendly and the food was reasonably priced.  We were lucky to go on time where the place was slow,there were only 2 tables occupied  but people started coming in when we were done eating  Food was really great.We ordered chicken burrito, chesse quesadillas, vaca frita and chips and guacamole. They came out fast and they were all delicious even  the mojito I ordered was also great.  There are a couple of good mexican restaurant in RVC and I can honestly say this is  one of the best.

So my best girlfriend in the whole wide world took me and my little sister to this restaurant on Taco Tuesday. Me and my silly self didn't know that there was really a meaning behind Taco Tuesday until I came here. The tacos on the list for taco Tuesday special we're $2 each. Why in the world would it be $2 each and I'm hungry? So oh yeah I had the pastor, carnitas, chicken, and fish yes I was hungry. My best friend had the same thing and my sister had basically a vegan taco without the shell. It was wild to see a taco off the shelf sitting on a plate it looks so naked I felt embarrassed for it lol. A young lady by the name of Maria Carla was so attentive to making sure that my sister stayed on her detox. I believe she had baked vegetable or steamed and it looked good. Sister said it tasted good and that's all that made the difference. We were so pleased with Maria Carla that we doubled her tip we enjoyed that she was very attentive to us and that's the type of customer service we like to receive. However, I find it kind of strange that this place does not serve hot coffee yeah there's a popular coffee spot next door but why go outside when I can get it right here at the place that I'm at ? There's nothing like a good hot cup of bustelo with your meal you know what I mean? perhaps moving forward you guys might consider incorporating hot coffee. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's ever asked for coffee and a taco restaurant. Had it  not been for Maria Carla and her eager to please and great customer service the restaurant may have received a three-star. The food did not come to us piping  hot like we expected to be but because we are so hungry we hurry up and wolfed it down lol. Also I was expecting to have lime as well as a hot sauce and theverde sauce but as i normally get when I go to restaurants for tacos but I did not receive this automatically. However and I do say however with the capital H, had it  not been for Maria Carla who bought us the sour cream as well as the chipotle sauce, I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much because of the fact it was not served piping hot. This place is small has a full bar and I'm sure it can get pretty crowded. My sister enjoyed it so much she will be back when she is off her detox. Looking forward to coming back and  hopefully our waitress Maria Carla will be there to greet us again.

My friend and I were actually going to a different taco place but they had a wait list. I was tired of waiting and saw Melissa’s was by me so we decided to go there. I can say we LOVE them! We went on a Monday night, on the same week we went on Friday and now it became our Friday stop before going home. Everyone there is extremely nice, but specially Michele. She’s amazing. If you go there ask for her and also try the crispy fish taco and coconut shrimp taco. We also love the mojito!! Great place and customer service!

Is it even legal for a taqueria outside of Mexico to make such good tacos and margaritas?!! My husband and I stopped by for a quick bite before our movie at the AMC across the street. The tacos were so delicious and I wanted to chug my margarita, but our server had a different idea! Margaritas to go! Had a nice little treat during our movie.

We went for lunch.  It's a cute little place with a beautiful bar.  The food was good, very flavorful.  The chips and salsa on the table were so hearty and thick.  We will be back!

Melissa’s taqueria was fabulous from start to finish!  We went for a family dinner and every single one of us were so impressed with our meals.  Presentation was gorgeous.  Great ambience. Best margarita I have had.  Highly recommend! We will be coming back- we are real foodies! For all you foodies out there!

Great location, municipal parking behind the establishment. Small, cozy and tasteful decor. Service staff were friendly and accommodating to the entire party 21 in total. The food was well seasoned, portions were generous. Ordered the skirt steak with a side of beans and rice. Arroz con pollo was very good. Kid friendly menu. Drinks were very sweet for my taste and I imagine high in calories. Nice place to host a birthday party, or other celebration. Again, the waitstaff did an amazing job, considering our group size. Prices are comparable to other Mexican restaurants in this area. Empanadas were a bit dry, but the sauces and pico de Gallo made up for that. Unfortunately, I did not have an opportunity to try their guacamole but from a distance it looked yummy. Check them out

When there just for an after work drink stayed for the music, the crowd and the service the food was excellent the drinks strong and the service outstanding

I took a chance that it would be good considering all the rave reviews but unfortunately that was not the case and I wasted a lot of money! Guacamole was so over salted it got tossed away. Beef burrito had chewy beef! Crispy chicken is an understatement make it dried out shoe leather! Just look at my picture of it does that look appetizing to you?! The shrimp taco was ok but $5 for 2 shrimp in a tortilla is not a bargain! Never again

Went on a Friday and had a great time. I don't know when they added vegan options to their menu, but I'm so glad they did! I had the vegan enchiladas which were good with a nice kick. My husband had three veggie tacos, some he had to request no cheese, but they were really yummy cauliflower, beet, forget the 3rd one. Drinks were good and Happy Hour goes late! Biggest surprise-The DJ was really great! I would've been dancing if I wasn't eating. Don't believe these times listed-they didn't close at 10pm!!  Vegetarian options: Veggie tacos 4 I think, vegan burrito, vegan enchiladas
