My little cousins ages 7 and 10 have been taking weekly drum lessons with Myles and they loved every second of it. He is an exceptionally talented music teacher. He is very patient and warm, and makes every lesson a fun and enjoyable experience. His teaching style is custom-designed to wherever the student is at musically. He knows how to keep the boys interested while being focused on fundamentals of music lessons. What I love about Myles is his ability to make the kids feel "successful" even when they struggle with timing or rhythm at times. I cannot speak highly enough of Myles. He is the the man if you or your kids need music lessons (drums, bass, piano , keyboard and voice lessons).

Myles is a patient and wonderful teacher. I'd recommend him to anyone looking to take voice lessons and I imagine his instrument instruction is just as satisfying.

I have worked with Myles over the years in a professional capacity and he is an absolute joy to work with. He knows his stuff and is very adaptable with people, situations and environments. I have a huge level of respect for Myles and what he brings to the musician/teacher table. His heart is in it and it is obvious that he is passionate about connecting music with people. Having knowledge is one thing, being able to present it so that it makes sense is the true gift of a teacher.

Myles Darnell is an excellent teacher! He is a very patient teacher. Even though it had been years since I had practiced (the piano), he patiently catered each lesson to my learning capability. He encouraged me to practice, and even brought me out of my comfort zone of penning "runs" that I could possibly sing which aided in fine tuning my ear for singing. I would highly recommend his services. You won't be disappointed.

Myles has been my instructor for voice and harmonies since the 90's, and I enjoy learning from him as a professional. He is a multi-talented man who has the patience to teach anyone who wants to grown and perfect their music ear, voice technique or learn how to play an instrument. He is a gifted man who loves what he does and it shows. Thank you Myles for all that you have taught me over the years.
