This place sucks... their so slow i waited over 30 minutes just to see a banker while 4 other tellers were just standing around talking.

If I could rate a -5 , that would be generous!! I refinanced a vehicle through MECU I would urge anyone to take your business elsewhere. After the vehicle was totaled (that's a whole other screwing I received), I was unaware that my total loss policy didn't transfer. I communicated to them that I was financially strapped and could not even afford to replace the car, let alone pay the 2000.00 balance AND pay another car note! This went back and forth and I honestly tried to pay on the balance. After I scraped together two payments after much harassment from them, I was told that if I did so, I could turn around and get another auto loan and rack the balance on. THIS WAS A PACK OF LIES and the branch manager, Mary what's her name, DELIGHTED in refusing my application IMMEDIATELY after she took my 35.00 app fee!!!!! She informed me that even if they gave me the loan, they would charge me 20% interest and she would call me. She never called me, except to see how my car shopping was going!?!?!? Needless to say, I didn't return her call. Now they have the gall to sue me??? I'm a single mom and a breast cancer patient. I work full time and have tried to keep up with my responsibilities. The part that really rubs me the wrong way is I know this manager got off on telling this white woman no....I assure you, if they were audited there would be a pattern. Bottom line, take your biz elsewhere. Update: they are now going to garnish my wages on a loan I tried to pay back....I could not sleep at night if I did ppl this way

The branch is horrible. Never again. I've been waiting for almost an hour just to see someone for five minutes about closing an account. Lots of people standing around and five people waiting in line. It's a really unprofessional.

My grandmom has been with this bank for about 23 years(direct deposit) and she asked to borrow 500.00...MIND YOU...NOT 5000.00 but 500 dollars and they turned her down!!!!! I've already suggested to her to go to a bank such as bank plus or regions, but she was determined to stick with these unconsidered people. They had to have looked at her account to even turn her down. So if this is the way that a customer is treated by "your" bank, she may as well keep her money in her pocket because nobody is getting any benefits but the bank. They are the only one drawing interest!!!!Just saying...Have more consideration for your customers!!!!!!!
