Nurses were compassionate and helpful for my family member.

I needed a sleep study done, i'm 18 and have central sleep apnea. I need a breathing machine (aka BiPAP) so my oxygen levels doesn't drop in the low 80s and I get brain hypoxia. I couldn't get this machine until I had a sleep study. Thankfully I went to the hospital in another town (Alma) to get one done, and got my machine within the week of making the appointment. Otherwise I would have had to wait an entire month to get one from the Memorial Satilla Health hospital. And if you don't know, sleeping oxygen deprived for an entire month does not do good things to your brain. So if you know anybody who needs a sleep study, look elsewhere.

My mom was brought in by ambulance last week and the staff was pretty good to her but she has COPD really bad and only one lung and they sent her home said she had bronchitis and they did X-rays on her also and blood work done well she wound up leaving thier hospital with pneumonia. I am very upset to know that she had pneumonia and they didn't know so now it's worsened and she is on life support in savannah hospital..

My elderly wife had a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience at this facility. In the early afternoon, my wife was examined in the ER and placed on a cot in a hallway awaiting a room assignment. After the passage of over six hours and getting the run-around from a disagreeable medical staff, my wife called me at home in desperation - I told her to leave, which she did. After complaining about my wife's treatment, a female staff member promised to look into the matter and call me back - she never called. A second complaint also failed to get a satisfactory explanation. I strongly advise you to stay away from this facility.

Rudest staff... They don't communicate with each other at all... They obviously don't follow md orders. Supposed to be npo after midnight... Well there's the lack of communication bc it didn't happen. My bf laid in the er hallway for 7 hours (rooms were available they just shut the lights off in them) with a sky high blood pressure before giving him the first dose of bp meds. Worst experience ever... They will straight up let someone die because of negligence/incompetency.
