I was in the shopping center and wanted to have a quick lunch. This is not your typical taco joint, and the menu is inventive. Restaurant is clean and attractive. I had a pork vindaloo taco!! Absolutely out of this world. The sides were rice and beans. Service is very friendly.
I love coming to eat here. They have the best black beans I've ever tasted! This is a great location with various weekly events salsa Saturdays for example. It's a bit pricey but I feel like it's worth it. The service is always great and the staff is friendly. There's plenty of parking as well. Check this place out.
Beautiful environment good vibe. Looks very unique inside this restaurant. Grilled shrimp with black bean soup was delicious Julia helped me get what I needed. I will be coming back here for satisfying my tummy again! Highly recommendedDine in: Yes
This appears to be a sort of a hole in the wall type of place, except for the fact that it's not. It is small but not tiny. The food is very, very good. The menu is not big, but it covers more than just the basics. You won't find anything you would not like. After many visits to this restaurant, and a hundred or more to other small Mexican restaurants in the Houston area, I believe this restaurant offers the best plain, authentic Tex-Mex food in Houston. Don't be put off by the location. If you're in the area, drop in.
A nice Latin theme neighborhood bar. There's live music and dancing. It's not as subdued as most dive bars and not as overwhelming as a nightclub. It's something nice in between. The drinks and prices are okay.
I love this place. Great location, for someone coming from Katy wanting to avoid the drive into downtown or midtown, deal with parking and crowds. The atmosphere is awesome. Live music Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Service is sometimes slow but where isn’t it when a place is busy. We usually have the same waitress and she’s the friendliest. Love her! She’s so sweet! It gets busy on the weekends so I try to be as patient as I can with staff, I don’t like to be a complainer and understand that busy is busy sometimes. Overall, it’s worth the try and highly recommend you give it a shot!
So I always wanted to try this place out and I always thought they had overpriced tacos, which they do lol but I was pretty surprised on how good the food was. I ordered my order through DoorDash for pick up. Well I got there and the place is super adorable. They have plenty of seating, a full bar, it is clean and nicely decorated. They have different menus and deals all week, like Happy Hour and other things. My order was ready and went to my car and realized the young lady did not give me my coke. Then I get to my place and they did not give me the 5 tacos I ordered expensive tacos so I had to go back and get that order. The young lady was nice but I think they should not be making mistakes when their restaurant is not that busy. Regardless, I want to come back and actually eat there to try out their drinks and other menu items.
Our family went to a recent Jazz night for music and tacos. The service was friendly and the drinks came out pretty fast. We tried multiple cocktails and our party agreed that they were all delicious. The music was fun and the musician accepted requests. We had a happy birthday shout out that was very fun. The tacos were good. However, as one of two large parties that night, we had a long wait for food. When the food did come out, it was partial orders so that our party ordered together but received food at 4 different times. This was not optimal and was made worse by the lack of information about when orders would be ready. Overall, good time with the music. There was room to dance. Parking: There is plenty of parking available in the evening.
This place is a fire Hazzard waiting to happen, I looked for the occupancy sign to see what it was never found it. The place was OVERCROWDED and why I couldn't tell you. The live music was HORRIBLE. I don't understand the 4.5 star rating. Wait time for tacos was two hours yet no one was eating. Was told that only after waiting for one hour listening to old men trying to be young again playing unfamiliar music. People walking to restroom pushing your chair to squeeze thru. After being told two hours I told her to cancel the two I ordered and left. The rest of our party stayed sent me pictures of tacos, people save your money, visit another more safe friendly establishment, this place is not worth the effort to go there. If you value life this is not the place you want to be.
This place is 5 minutes from my house, and I'm actively grumpy that it took me nearly a year to discover it. The selection and the service were very good. I could not be more satisfied with the food and drinks we got, as well. They even had things my vegetarian girlfriend was heartily enjoyed! We'll definitely be back to explore the menu further.
