The employees were very helpfull and courteous. The selection is a step up from Home Depot the prices are great. I travel 90 minutes one way to go there all the time as there has yet to be a place that affords the same level of comfort and earned respect that Menards had achieved

Good prices, friendly people. And they have lots of stuff. It's bad though, I go in for a couple of things and leave with a full cart usually.

I went in after a disastrous visit to Home Depot. Unlike Home Depot, Menards seems to hire people that know what they are talking about. I came in for Plumbing. The guys were busy so I was waiting. Chris walked by and asked if I needed help. He said he no longer worked in the department but helped me anyways and spent some time talking to me about my project regardless. He was a class act gentleman. I'll never shop at Home Depot again, but will always come back to Menards over this experience.

I was returning some tile. I went to get a cart to put it in, a young man that worked there came rushing out to help me. Awesome service, no problem with the return.
