I like shopping at Menards the people there are very helpful and nice they answered all my questions I would go back to Menards for whatever I need.

Menard's is a staple. Yet my concern is dealing with returns. It's always a hastle and when you deal with the amount I buy it should not be this hard. Also DONT BUY ONLINE. Menard's has the worst online purchasing set up I have ever seen. Half the time you order something online it's not in stock. The last time and final I order something online. Was charged and they stated they " could not find it" when I went to get a refund they said I already picked it up! It was a hastle to get my money back.

Stopped at Menards in Antioch IL today and have to say it was the best shopping experience I have had not only at this Menards but any retailer anywhere. I needed to purchase a few electrical supplies for a contractor that is doing work at my house. I am not an electrician so was not real sure what everything on the list was or where it was at. Shortly after entering the electrical section one of the Menards employees named Kim asked if I needed any help. Most employees in retail stores just point and say it is over there. I had a list, Kim knew what everything on my list was and helped me find everything on the list, she also made sure I was getting the better price options for everything I was getting. All this help was more than I have ever received from an employee at a retailer and Kim took it 2 steps further! She helped me get the larger items to the register and also carried them out to my truck for me. I have had several back operations and have severe issues with pain and my mobility - none of this was known to Kim. She didn't ask and feel that she treats every customer she comes across this way. I sure hope that her boss or someone higher reads this review, identifies Kim and acknowledges her kindness and professionalism! It was top notch and she deserves to be inline for a promotion if she is not already the store manager. We need more of this in this world. Every time I come to this Menards, I will look for Kim not only if I need help but to say hi and have a good day! This type of customer service needs to be instilled in any retail employee. When someone treats you like this and gives you unsolicited help it really changes the mood of your day, the positive vibes will trickle to anyone I come in contact today. Thanks Kim!! We need more people like you.

Customer Service is exceptional at this store. The employees thoroughly make sure you get exactly what you need and are looking for. Love the 11% rebates on everything!

Its a menards... the staff is always friendly and asks if i need help. Some people dont like this but, when i do have aquestion it good that they are checking in wit me to see if i need something. I have better luck here than the othe big box hardware stores. Some folks complain about the quality if the products, i have never had an issue.
