We purchased paint tonight. The young man was super. He was very interested in helping us. He pulled out a calculator and figured out the best buy for us. Acted as it was a pleasure to shake the paint for us. I was looking for the blue paper towels and he knew where they was located. When he finished with us he stepped over to an older lady and asked how he could help. Wow. That is exceptional excellent service. He is the one in your store which will make me want to go back to Menard's. Not the normal like in building materials when I asked where I would find facia "In the back ". Someone point me to where the back is. I can walk for 23 minutes in the back and never know if I am near facia. "In the back " come on with that persons help I see the front door. It is beyond the registers, I will go home with my money and empty pickup. 
  Not tonight I have a trunk full of paint. 
  Maybe my wife will want to paint the spare bedroom?

This is what meth does to a community. And Menards, in general learn the business principle that what got you there won't keep you there. Your customer service is abysmal and people can go back to the big boys if you force us to.

I went here today looking for some flexible hose.  I ended up going to 3 people to finally getting what I need as they ready don't know what their inventory is, and unlike O'Haras (true value) nobody there really knows what to do with the stuff they sell.  Then we saw a bargain on some shorts(they do have some bargains there), but no dressing room to try them on to make sure they fit....why sell clothes without a dressing room.  We asked if I could use the men's room to try them on....OOOOHHHHH. NOOOOO, you can't do that...So, in my humble opinion, they were saying they did not want my money.

Needed a brick saw and they said that it would take like three weeks to special order one.  Bought their rental brick saw and they charged full price.  It quit working in just six days.  They said that it was purchased "as is" and refused a refund.  On their copy of the sales ticket they wrote in big letters "AS IS!".  We paid full price for a used saw that would have normally had a warranty and got junk.
