I adopted a cat from here, I could tell right away that she had respiratory problems and a ear infection. Apparently they treated her for the URI, but when she came home she was really lethargic. I took her to the vet and found out she had a bacterial infection in both ears and respiratory infection. I think they need to do a better job making sure they are adopting out healthy pets cause mine was in poor shape. I'm glad I was able to help her when they failed to. This is a serious problem when you bring a sick pet home and it is a highly contagious infection to other cats. Very small cages also so sad for these animals.

The staff is always very helpful and friendly. The cages/kennels are always clean.

They're great, unless you cannot get your pet in for spay or neuter in a timely manner. You'll receive a phone call threatening to have it removed by animal control for breach of contract. Apparently, the animal still belongs to them and you're just borrowing it as long as it remains unaltered regardless of what you paid. 
If that's not something that sits well with you, find another way to adopt.

I adopted my two dogs and one cat from the Humane Society
In Fort Bragg and in Ukiah- these animals are my family and have brought me joy beyond words...

you should hold on to your tears it will be very sad. Youll fell mad because people just not treat them right youll want to just take all of them and its so hard to choose one .The paper that they have on there cage has sentences that youll fall in love with  they try to convense you to adopt them and i hope you do because when you need some one to talk to there would be your pet  and im saying that because i felt that no one liked me meaning my family until i found the shelter and adopted a dog so when i felt sad i talked to my dog and inside of me i felt happy that i told  someone how i felt and now i became an animal lover  and i rescue pets and keep them at my house i dont mean i look for them they come to me.😢😢😦😟😔🐈🐇🐾🐣🐤🐥🐕👈these amimals have come to me #4everanimal-😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍❤❤❤❤💓💓💕❤❤❤
