It's a great 👍 place to learn and grow. They gave free tutoring, comfy furniture and everything.

If you want to go to the noisiest library ever, come here. If you want a library with limited seating, come here. If you want to come here to get some work done, good luck.

Spring and summer of 2015 I began to research an undergrad and use the library… Naturally for research it's library that's what they are for! Come to find out that most of the parents park their kids here for noisy screaming indoor sessions and hogging up the Internet bandwidth for playing pointless video games... I am Jack's total surprise. I asked one of the librarian ladies if she could talk to the kids and use the classic shhhhh, to my surprise I was told "this is a safe space for children... they need to have a place express themselves" Did this become bizarro world or am I in an episode of the Twighlight Zone... no I'm at a library which is now daycare? I had a conversation with whoever's in charge on the phone and told him about this and he was appalled. I'm gonna go to the Bellevue library in the meantime will see if they get things fixed. OK that phone conversation was a week ago I'm gonna head in the library tonight and see how it is. Otherwise it's a really nice library, updated materials, new-ish computers and easy parking!

So pleased to have found a French language story time for my toddler. The reader was very engaging!

This is the worst public library's I've ever been in. I come here to study several times a week and never ONCE has it been sufficiently quiet enough. There is a complete disregard for being quiet and staff workers seem to not give two clucks about the elementary school children who flood through the front doors every afternoon only to play tag and talk wildly about their fascinations with puberty. In fact, as I write this, there are two females who are talking rather loudly about autistic kids and other various learning disabilities that their child(s) seem to be suffering from. Fine. But I feel like I'm now fully submerged in their conversation. Ladies, there are about 19 Starbucks on this Island; please pick one of those. In addition to that, there's some dude with a larger-than-life hammer going to pound town right outside the wall where I am nearest. I understand construction and everything, but why couldn't this wait until all the kids are done with school i.e. next week? At least try and coordinate different hours when maybe the Library is closed or at its lowest amount of visitors? Something needs to be done. Hopefully the new construction will address some of these problems. Recommendation: Enclose the childrens and/or "young adults" section with 3-inch thick glass and acoustics to drown out their constant wailing. Honestly, I think the problem begins with the staff. Although they are all friendly and seem to be very helpful; they don't show any inclination to interfere with the noise origins. I'm now leaving this sanctuary of stress on account of my bleeding ears. I really hope someone who holds authority reads this and makes changes.....or at least pretends to care. Cheers.
