I did not attend this school, nor do I have any children. However, I was a math teacher here, and I think it is a good place to send a young female student.
There is a lot of camaraderie between students at this school. When I was teaching there, many of the teachers were very good and cared a lot about their students.
The downside is the administration. I don't feel like they have the student's best interest in mind. For example, in the last couple of years they promoted the then current Principal to be the CEO of the school. What kind of school has a CEO?
I do not want this review to be a personal matter, so I conclude by saying that the teachers at Mercy fight to make this school a decent place to attend high school.
