One of the best hiking trails among cedar trees.This trail has it all.A hiker's dream,lust and not crowded trails in this park.Beautiful no wake lake.Watch out for the snakes during the warmer days.They also like the hiking trails.

What a great place! History, great trails, good fishing, nice campsites, and dedicated staff! What's not to like!! We will DEFINITELY be back!

Good place for a day hike! Trails are clean and well marked for most of the hike. Only downside is that the trails are not very long as you can see by the map. If you are there for walking or running, trails are relatively unpopulated, but the closer you get to the swimming area, the more people are hosting family reunions. Altogether, very nice place for a relaxing summer day.

Very nice park! Restrooms were rather clean, park staff was very friendly  and helpful. Trhe trrails are great and well marked. We will definitely camp here again.

We went camping for 4th of July weekend, a total of 14 people. Stayed at the screened shelters. Not a bad experience. Out of 14 of us, 11 came home with severe diarrhea and vomiting. I say it's in the water, because the 3 people that didn't go in the water, didn't get sick. Be aware.....
