Merit is the general contractor of choice throughout Iowa communities. We're known for bringing experience and leadership to every building project.

For nearly four decades, our buildings have been as much a part of Iowa's landscape as cornfields and cows.

We don't just build in Iowa; we live in Iowa. We raise our families here and we donate our time, money and energy to the wonderful organizations that make our communities great. Merit employees are involved hands-on with Friendship Force International, Boy Scouts of America, Rotary Club and other worthwhile organizations.

We deliver quality results on time and within budget. We develop an understanding of each client's goals to help them arrive at the best value decisions for their investment. We manage the construction process by assembling a team of local professionals that consistently adds value, controls costs and maintains quality throughout design, construction and beyond.
