if I could give a negative number I would. my review is from 7 yr experience being involved in the Merit health care groyp. They do not care about anything but profit. Even the doctor in the system are not allowed to put patients before profit. If Merit has no specialist in the Network the doctor is not allowed to send you to the doctor you ask for. I tried to see a specific doctor for 7yrs but he was St. Dominic system. Merit lied told me he didn't take my insurance. told me they faxed records and never did. I was not allowed out of the loop until I changed primary care doctors myself. They get kickback referral fees whatever you want to call it. My health has declined and I know its due to Merit. I have GI problem but they tried to send me to a plastic surgeon for a blackhead instead of getting me to themail correct doctor. Please stay away from them. I know employees that have told me inside scoop.
