We have used Merrilee to do our living trust and also to amend the living trust. She is terrific and reasonable.  She is good at explaining the way things work and is patient about making sure all the needful things get done. We have been thrilled with her. When we go on a vacation, just in case the unthinkable thing happens, we make sure our son knows where the living trust is and has Merrilee's phone number and email so she can guide him as required.

Merrilee Boyack has served exceptionally well as our trust attorney.  My husband and I were married together late in life and a second marriage for each of us.  Constructing suitable trusts for us was challenging!  My husband’s late wife already had children when they married, and together they had additional children.  During their marriage they had had a trust constructed, but at her death the trust was not properly divided.  Then I entered the family with children of my own.  My husband and I went to Merrilee with the task of constructing trusts that would address our separate assets, and in fair manner, provide for my husband’s step children, his own children, and my children.  When my husband died, Merrilee carefully worked through every complicated step with my husband’s son to settle my husband’s estate.  And, I am at peace knowing that when my estate needs to be settled by my executor, all is in order.  Thank you, Merrilee!

Merrilee executed a full restatement of our family trust a few years ago.  She guided us through the many important decisions needed to fully protect our interests.  Whenever we needed clarity on a particular concern, Merrilee offered sound and practical legal advice to help us reach the best choice. Although she is in Utah and we are in California, this was absolutely no problem as Merrilee operates at the speed of the internet!
