I paid off a judgement back in 2014. Now, without any notice by the firm or the courts they started a new garnishment. They are using the old judgement/case and adding new charges and calling it "After post judgement costs, fees and payments".  How they are getting away with doing this to people who paid the debt in full two years ago is unbelievable and should be illegal!  The receptionist is rude, uninformed and not helpful at all. I will continue reach out to other lawyers to see if what they are doing to me is legal and I hope to be the last person they try to do something like this to.

Biggest Scam of a Lawyer in Utah.  After meeting Mr. Merrill in court and made a deal concerning my case. He did not even have a amount on hand of what I owed in which I was going to pay right there.  Then After contacting his office his Secretary had no clue of our dealings.  Then said I owed another $900 on top of what I paid.  I offered a settlement in which she said she would call me back.  A few days later I was served  with papers to appear on court and they added another $500. Now they will not take my calls, and Mr. Merrill still after 3 weeks has not returned my call concerning the situation.

We rented our home in Utah under Belden Real Estate Management.  What we discovered when the tenant moved out was damage in the $1,000.00s.  We worked with this property manager and his team to get the home back into shape to re-rent.  The tenant moved out at the end of January and by mid April the home was still filthy and in bad shape.  We let this property manager go and changed the locks.  We hired a new property manager and they had the home cleaned, repaired and rented by mid May.  We held out hope that the lawyer and law firm Belden Real Estate  Management used (Graham Abraham at Merrill Law Office) would get some of our money back but the trial was just held last week, June 2015 and the lawyer did such a poor job that none of our evidence could be used in court. We had photos, videos and multiple repair receipts.  Needless to say we do not recommend (Graham Abraham at Merrill Law Office).
