Sam was a great help getting my order just as I needed.  I have little knowledge of different metals and the proper use.  They have had everything I needed in stock and their prices are good.  Very happy I found this place.  Will definitely use them whenever I need steel.

I like Metal Supermarkets,  however, not this particular store.  The owners are very difficult to deal with. The staff is friendly and helpful, when dealing with them I could overlook the rudeness of the owners.  That was until yesterday, when I stop there to buy some stainless steel pipe. I only needed 3 inches, however, I said I would buy a foot.   I was told no, he would not cut the pipe, I had to buy the whole piece. His staff looked shocked and asked him "you won't cut the pipe?" He said No. I walked out. Metal Supermarkets  advertises metal cut to any length with no minimums. I was a regular customer there. There are too many other Metal Supermarkets and steel suppliers in the area to deal with such rudeness.  It amazes me the shortsightedness of some business people.  I have taken losses on clients, and have had them turn around and become repeat, loyal, clients who have sent me additional work and have referred other clients to me. The market always adjusts, you can only turn so many customers away before there are not enough sales to keep the business open, especially in niche markets.

They had what I was looking for in cut off material. A little more of a drive than what I like. If they were within 10 miles it would be a 10
Very helpful & willing to cut off any thing I needed. Price OK Also.

I bought a expanded sheet to put on my kitchen cabinet door and it looks great, staff was friendly and cut it to my size. I also went back and got a galvanized sheet to make a magnet board to hang my kids art work and it looks great in my family room wall. Order what you need and you can pick up same or next day.

Stay away. The owner of this franchise inflates the prices by at least double of what the store in Bridgeview charges. Ask him for a price list and see what you get.
