We miss Dr. Tanner Metcare lost the best Then we had Dr, Mohammed, he was decent but he left METCARE CANNOT KEEP DOCTORS IN NEW SMYRNA NOW WE HAVE THE NEW JORGE LOLOMA SANCHEZ NOT GOOD NO BEDSIDE MANNER AT ALL IT IS NOT THE DOCTORS IT IS METCARE AND THEY WAY THEY TREAT THEIR PROVIDERS. THIS NEW DOCTOR IS OVERWHELMED, THE SAME WAY DR MOHAMMED WAS TOSSED TOT HE WOLVES WITH NO HELP. I BLAME METCARE FOR THEIR SHORT COMINGS, THEY ARE ONLY HUMAN ANDMETCARE CANT KEEP DOCTORS IN NEW SMYRNA BEACH FLORIDA WHY?

After being treated wonderfully for a number of years at the MetCare Dr's. Office in New Smyrna Beach, FL, I had my regular check up today and was seen by Dr. Mohammed, a doctor I had not seen before, as Dr. Tanner, my regular doctor, left for a better position elsewhere. Dr. Mohammed was the rudest, most disrespectful, condescending and ineffective doctor I have been seen by. He did not want me to ask him ANY questions and refused to answer my questions. He actually seemed to RESENT me asking questions and I believe a patient has the right to ask questions about their treatment. He treated me as though I was a stupid old lady and how dare I ask questions of him. He has a very elevated sense of himself, as though he is better or above all of us lowly old ladies. I don't know if he treats both men and women the same way, I got the feeling it was mainly women, or perhaps only old women, like myself. He strikes me as the type of person by his behavior that treats people he feels he can get away with it on, the weaker set, very poorly. He got angry with me, told me he would not be seeing me anymore as a patient, I would have to see the physicians assistant, as he does not want to treat me because of my questions. Seriously...the DOCTOR FIRED THE PATIENT. (these were questions about my prior treatments there by Dr. Tanner). He told me that Dr. Tanner had prescribed me all wrong medications (however, I have no side affects and feel great)..and the HE was a "FREE UPGRADE" for me over Dr. Tanner. He did not go over anything with me, he walked completely out of the office on me without even dismissing me or giving me any instructions. I have never felt so shocked to be treated by a PHYSICIAN this way before He was horrible. I ended up leaving the office by finding my way out, untreated, still with problems I came in for, he never discussed with me or advised me about that, such as swelling in my ankles, numbness in my fingers, retaining water. I feel that could be important...and I would have liked some help with it. I could have seen the office nurse and gotten more advice, and in fact, the nurses and the stuff, especially Jodi and Debbie are super nice and helpful always. The only person from that office that is bad is Dr. Mohammed. I am not sure where he went to medical school, but he forgot to take the "bedside manner" classes and he clearly thinks he someone special, for which is definitely is NOT!! I am in shock and horror at the entire experience. I fully intend to file a complaint against him immediately for the lack of treatment me and the horrible way he spoke to and acted to me.
