these people go above & beyond to assist. ive been a patient with other practices not with metro health & they never wanted to take care of me in house. i drive out of my way to see dr. vannoord. they can see me on every issue very quickly. also had an ankle issue & were real quick to get me to an orthopedic surgeon. i will be going here gor my physical therapy after surgery as well.

I have been going to physical therapy for a few weeks now & I have to say that I have only had good experiences with this office.

My mother in Law is a patient. We are caring for her as she broke her knee. Dr Vanoord's office called on Thursday and asked how she was doing (nice) then Mom told her she only had 2 pain pills and appt was on Monday. The woman told her she would call in a percription that day. We went to pick up and was told that they needed a hard copy to fill. This is Friday 4pm. Mom called the Doctors office at 4:20pm. The woman told her oh no you need to pickup with an ID. She did not offer to wait so we could drive over 5-10 minuets away. Sorry we close at 4:30. Mom said but I will go all weekend without pain meds. "Sorry" was all she got from the compasstionate (not) nurse. My husband was so upset that he called the answering service to talk with the doctor. Dr Vanoord called and basically told him the same thing. His suggestion was to drag this 83 year old woman back out in the snow and ice and bring her to ER or a Med center to get meds! No patient loyalty here. Terribly disappointed that they could treat a patient like this. Looking for new office.
