Metro Moving and Storage moved us from our home in Littleton, stored our furniture for almost 3 years and then moved it to Montana. They were professional at every turn and great to work with. They were also budget friendly! We loved our experience with them and would recommend them to our family and friends.

From start to finish, this was one of the best moves we have had. The movers were friendly and courteous and moved all our stuff with care from Evergreen to Fruita with no damage or lost items.I would definitely use this company again and will recommend them.

If there was a negative star I would have selected that for the terrible service, unprofessionalism, and pathetic business practices we received from Metro Movers. The first word of advise I can give you is that the quote you receive should not be trusted as a valid document. We were initially charged $1,000 over the quote and had to fight to keep it to $500 over the quote. Of course Metro Movers tried to charge us more because it took them double the time of the quote. Now, you maybe thinking the quote was not correct. For us, that was not the case. Our movers were not just lazy, taking multiple long breaks, but they were inexperienced. They complained every time they had to pick up a heavy piece of furniture. I witnessed guys carrying light objects such as two pillows just to have a break, all too often. How did they do in safeguarding our furniture and belongings? That's an "F" also. They would put furniture on the asphalt street or concrete driveway and tip it up, constantly scratching and chipping feet and bottoms of dressers, desks, etc. Professional movers put blankets down so things don't get damaged. They even put long black marks on an 8' door and then lied about the fact that the damage was there before. They then wanted to go through the entire 7,000 sq. ft. home taking pictures of every small (and they were all very small indeed) scratches or imperfections. If I was smart I would have fired them right then. That was only a pre-cursor to all the problems that lie ahead. Shall we talk about insubordination and foul language. I can't possibly be making this up. We had two movers cuss me out because I did not care about them and then they refused to move furniture where we wanted it. I was livid, as you might imagine. After I had bought bottled water and two lunches for the movers and then that was how I got treated. I guess what had happened was the guys were mistreated or misspoken to by the management/owner and took it out on me and my wife. I could write several more paragraphs but I'm sure you understand my point.....Metro Movers is the absolute worst moving company I have every seen and I would not wish this horrendous service on anybody. Do your homework, get three quotes, and then throw the one out you just got from Metro Movers....They could care less about your needs.

I wish I could give negative stars. No communication whatsoever. My shipment was delayed twice, had two failed pick, and was transferred to another company all without a single call or email. I didn't find out until I called them after my original delivery date, and even then it is not easy to get in touch with them since they have nobody manning phones on nights or weekends and can take days to respond to a simple email. The day of pickup I didn't even know when they'd be arriving because they never called the day before despite promising to do so. They also sneakily don't tell you that the not to exceed estimate doesn't guarantee anything about storage, so I was hit with an extra $240 charge on my credit card several days after I moved. Current status: 4 days past original delivery date, I'm in an empty apartment and am told there's no way they can deliver anything for another 10 days. We'll see if that even holds true.
