I thought I would try to take advantage of Evansville, Indiana's Public Transportation.  Needless to say I have enjoyed the experience so far.  Consistently on-time and quite cost effective.  A single trip, one way, is only 75 cents.  You quite honestly can not get any cheaper than that.  Now some do not prefer public transportation because of the, how shall I say, eclectic crowd that it can or may draw.  It doesn't bother me that much and I have enjoyed experience and its thrifty nature.  Would recommend it to anyone.

Almost every bus driver is professional, friendly and courteous. The Howell-Mary driver (old black woman) shouldn't be allowed to drive a car, let alone a bus. And she's unfriendly.
