Dr. Metzger, Amber, Lindsay - everyone in her office is amazing! No wonder she has kept her staff for so long! Everyone is so friendly, they really try to work with your schedule and budget and don't give you the 'it's this or nothing' approach. They are great with kids, both while providing services and when I didn't have a sitter (lol)! I could not recommend Dr. Metzger more as she and her team really care and are great at what they do!

I had a great first visit to Metzger Family Dental. The staff were very friendly and took good care of me. They were also very patient and took the time to make sure all my questions were answered. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is Leona Mcdeid writing review. I have been coming several years. Dr Metzger is very personable and professional - answers all my questions. Valinda is the greatest Dental hygienist! Very gentle - my teeth and gums don't hurt when she cleans my teeth and always encouragingly promotes better teeth care.

After looking around for a dentist for my family I found Dr. Metzger. I can gladly say that after the first visit I am glad I did. I had been without insurance for years and my teeth have suffered the consequence but the entire staff never once made me feel bad about my situation. They treated me like I had been a patient there for years and were very informative and helpful. I will be making many more trips to her over the next few months and I can't wait for her and her staff to meet my children!! She is efficient, caring, and genuinely concerned and sympathetic of all aspects of her patients care, she even takes the best way to utilize your insurance into consideration. If you are looking for a dentist look no more!

We have been coming here for about 4 or 5 years. The staff and Dr. Metzger are all very good with my very active boys. The cleanings are very thorough. When my then 4-year-old had several cavities to fill, Dr. Metzger was professional enough to see that she would not be able to fill them because my son was physically bucking against her and staff, and she did not believe in holding him down (which I appreciate). She referred us to a pediatric dentist, who filled those cavities, but we continue to see Dr. Metzger as a family. Prices are the best I have seen in Ames, by far, as much as 50% less for certain services than other dentists. Have recommended her many times to friends.
