Outstanding service. Fantastic chips and salsa reminded me of the Frito style chips of old San Antonio. Stop in and enjoy their fresh tortillas. Our server today was Adi and she was great!
We went on a Thursday about 4 pm. It wasn't very busy so we were seated within minutes. Our drink orders were taken and brought to us just after our chips and salsa. Food orders were taken a few mins later. 10 mins after our food came out. It was very hot when brought to the table. My beef enchiladas plate was very good. I haven't been a fan of Mexican Inn. But we gave this location a try and all of us were pretty happy.
Food is always hot and very good, drinks are always good, the service is usually pretty good, and I like that each person gets their own bowl of chips & salsa, but there is ALWAYS flies or gnats buzzing around! I’ve been to this location on Hulen a few times & there's always some flies.
Very very bad experience. Told our server what the issue was and it seem like it didn't even bother him. They went and got a manager or supervisor and they just killed it and keep on working. Had absolutely no apologies from anyone when this happen! LIVE ROACH SCENERY
Was not a fan of the chips and salsa. The chips were like fritos and the salsa didn't have much flavor. The lunch plate was just ok.
Our mother use to work for Mexican Inn. She was the head cook. Our family has always enjoyed the food and hospitality that we get at the restaurant. It brings back good memories of when Mom ran the kitchen and expected nothing but the best. So our family gathering are always at the restaurant. Thank you for always giving us good memories of the now.
Our waiter was very slow. I'm not sure how many sections he had, but he had to keep returning to our table to bring items he had forgotten or that weren't prepared. My friend ordered corn tortillas with her salad. She didn't get them until she was nearly finished. I ordered a margarita. I didn't get it until I was half way through my meal. I had the tacos and the ground beef was greasy and gross. The chips, which I normally love, had been fried in oil that wasn't hot enough, so I had a huge lump of chips in my bowl, that were totally inedible. I WILL NOT be returning to this Mexican Inn. The food and service were terrible!
Went to Mexican Inn tonight & dined in our food was good but our to go order was chicken fajitas & I had asked for the veggies to be well done & when they brought it out the veggies are barely cooked & the rice & beans are cold. I told the waiter, he took them back to the kitchen had them cook the meat & onions again but the bell peppers looked the same barely cooked the rice & beans were still cold & now the meat over cooked when I only asked for the veggies to be well done so I asked for the manager & told him he told me to put it in the microwave & didn't take any money off my ticket or anything. I won't be going back for a while
I didn't understand the frito style chips instead of just regular tortilla chips and salsa served normally at a Mexican restaurant which I was looking forward to. The tacos were disappointing, rice and beans were ok. I have still yet to find a good Mexican restaurant in Texas. The service was great though and the atmosphere was as well.
I had dinner with my older sister and her husband, Elizabeth Gonzalez Lucio and Carlos Lucio, with my mom, Maria D. Gonzalez at Mexican Inn. I had a great time and will definitely be going back. The chips and salsa are satisfying. I know about them thanks to my sister-in-law, Melanie Ann Garcia Guzman, who introduced me to Mexican Inn. We used to eat lunch, at the location on 8th Ave, when we worked at Dr. Madalia's office on Magnolia. She was a secretary and I did medical billing & coding back in 2012. Anyways, it's a great place to be casual. Respectfully, Jackie Gonzalez Guzman Fort Worth, TX 76107 Parking: Lots of space to pull out in. Lol
