As someone who is middle eastern I’m always looking for quick middle eastern food. This was most definitely the best Mediterranean bowl I’ve ever had! It was also super authentic in taste. Highly recommend!!!! Way better than the bigger companies.Food: 5/5
A wonderful Mediterranean restaurant where you can find something to your taste. Hearty bowls of goodness that'll bring you lots of pleasant joy and keep you full for a long time! Great environment, great music, very welcoming service, and reasonable prices! What's not to like? :Food: 5/5
I bought mezeh classic bowl the other day. It was perfect, the portion was good, the food was delicious. Therefore I got the same bowl again today. I ordered Mezeh classic bowl with no eggplant , no red cabbage, no pickled turnips and extra tabbohleh. But the server girl was so stingy, she barely put anything in the bowl. I can’t even see chicken properly and not much rice. I said extra tabbohleh because I didn’t put a lot of stuffs. But I can barely see the tabbohleh. I wish could stop being stingy to customer and put proper food for the price I paid. There was a comparison from today bowl and yesterday bowl. Look how different the portions are.
First time trying this place since I was in the area where the old Greek spot was located. I got the Mezeh Classic. A white man was in line ahead of me with a different staff member and also had take out and his portion size was a lot bigger. I asked the girl serving me is this the portion size it's very small compared to the other customer, but she just continued to enter the info into the computer. When it asked for tip I gave none cause she ignored me!
Delicious food, generous portions, and welcoming staff! Alex was super helpful when my family and I were ordering our meals. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!Food: 5/5
The food is soo good & afforadable, sweet tangy and flavorful. It's something I never had before so many flavors. Staff is very friendly as well, that lady that works there is so sweet & awesome Just a heads up, they give you plenty of food up to the brim of the bowl. You will only need 1 bowl for 2 people I recommend the chicken chicken and the mezeh classic ! $14-$16 spent on 1 bowl each
Chill and quiet place. The employees were delightful. The food amazing and fresh! Definitely a great find. Vegetarian options: Vegan as well Dietary restrictions: Vegan Kid-friendliness: There is a kid menu Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
Healthy food that feels filling. It's priced to compete with salad bowl style places but eats like a proper meal. The varied ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Food is healthy and not greasy which can be difficult to find in this neighborhood for their price point. For $13, it's a great lunch for the chicken bowl. I've tried lamb $17 and chicken so far. Taste is enjoyable albeit doesn't blow you away. If you need a healthy meal, good on the stomach, reasonably priced and different from typical salad, fast food, hot dog and poke places, I recommend coming here.
So happy to have a Mezeh location in FiDi. Tried the union square location first which was great. This new location is spacious and clean. We love the build your own bowl option. There are no limits to how many sides/dishes one can add which is incredible! They have about 4-5 types of hummus. My favorite is the garlic hummus. Mezze wise the honey roasted eggplant and couscous are particularly great! Lots of options for dressing. My go to is the lemon garlic one. I hope they make the veggie kefta at this location soon as that's what I liked the most.
Food wise, this place is amazing and you totally get a great bang for your buck. I'm not sure if its because they became more popular or have less staff, but ordering and getting your bowl filled has become a tedious process. The staff will stop right in the middle of making your bowl to check on other things or go fulfill an online order. I just had someone stop mid scoop and said "ill be right back" to go take care of an online order and the line behind me was reaching the door. They at first had staff set up at each station which was extremely efficient and allowed the line to move quickly. Regardless, the food is great and its an awesome spot.
