Ordered two dozen tamales a couple of months ago- they had a good taste but there was about a teaspoon full of meat and a whole lot of Masa. The Green & Red chili ones were the same. It cost $30 per dozen and it was a major Rip- Off. Very disappointed. The people running the place are nice but they need to be honest & provide a better product.
I ordered door dash . I was excited because I love Mexican food . It wasn't a chicken burrito like I ordered it was beef . And the empanada is disgusting . It's hard as a rock and what is that ? That is NOT an empanada that's nasty I tried to eat it but it's hard as a rock and disgusting . Not happy about my food and will never order from here again .
If you blink, you’ll miss it, but what a gem! Great food that reminds me of my grandma’s cooking. Tamales, menudo, tacos… all of it is so good!Food: 5/5
Food is amazing. The menu is small and so far out of all of the dishes we’ve tried they make each dish extremely well. Prices are fair for the portion size of each dish. The only downside is the building. It is a small warehouse. It’s a quiet place so easy to catch up with friends.Food: 5/5
The location is very picturesque it still bears the signs of its past as a simple garage, let's say that it is very close to the concept of a postmodern tavern; 4 stars for the food which, however, has potential that should be expressed better both the tamales and the rice were tasty but very, too dry: a minute less cooking can often make the difference. Possibility of take away and small shop selling bulk Mexican food. Surprise: the bathroom is one of the cleanest I've ever found. Family-run business with friendly, smiling staff. A kitsch place where you can taste what is usually served in a home. Will I go back? Definitely because, in any case, the quality/price is more than honest and I hope to see them improve. Recommended for those who want to try a "dine like at home" experience.
Viviane and Rommel are the most kind restaurant owners ever. The warm and welcoming atmosphere they create is unmatched! The most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had. Overall 10/10. I’ll be sending my friends and family their way :Food: 5/5
Just got dinner delivered from here, first time! Excellent street taco, pozole was delicious! The tamales were wonderful and reminded me years ago when I knew some people at work that made tamales and brought them to work from home. So good!Food: 5/5
Went there a few days before Christmas because saw they have prepared masa for tamales. I tried one of the tamales before hand and it was really good. It was pretty cheap I think it was about $10 or so for 5 pounds of masa for tamales. My husband got the carne asada torta he enjoy it and I got the menudo. The menudo was really good it was just missing the hominy. Can't complain tho since it was good.
Legit the best tamales, tortillas, and bread north of the border. If you are wanting the most authentic experience, show up on a Saturday or Sunday where they unlock the full menu. Pro Tip: Arrive early or be prepared for a line. You know it is good enough to wait!
The food here is excellent! Menudo was so great. The tres leches cake was the best I've had. The tamales were ok. The service is not that great. They didn't check on us much and the place was small and cold. But the food makes up for it. Highly recommend if you want something close to a homemade mealFood: 5/5
