Last year the campground we have been going to for 24 years was closed for tree removal and there was nothing about that on the website. We ended up camping at a place right next to a road with no vaulted toilets, no water. . .I have been trying to call the Mi Wok ranger station to find out if the campground would be open this year and the phone just rings, and rings, and rings. They are not helpful at all..

I called for advice hiking and the ranger told me they don't give advice because people return to them and say "The trail you recommended was awful and you've ruined my trip." She continued to say that they can't provide advice b/c "everyone has different likes" and that I should just get a map myself and figure it out. "Sounds like you don't even know what you want to do." SHE DIDN'T EVEN ASK ME WHAT I WANTED TO DO! So not helpful. What a waste.
