Called 911 at Austin landing/75 exit for small mulch fire which went to Warren county 911. I was then transferred to the right agency that the phone kept ringing with no answer. Went to the Dept on Wood Rd and nobody responded to the doorbell so I called the number by the doorbell which went to a machine saying to call the non emergency number or 911which would've taken me back to Warren County Dispatch. Called the non emergency number with continuous ringing again. Had this been an serious emergency someone could've been seriously injured or died because of no response and such a delay. Being a former first responder, time is if the essence and a county/city of this size there's no reason that nobody would be able to answer.
