They say it's a good sign for a restaurant of a certain cuisine if the majority of guests eating there are of that origin. This is the case with Miari noodle house. We got lucky finding a parking spot and a table at this very popular small place. A great choice if you want to have authentic Korean food.Food: 5/5
Most Korean food is easily turned into a vegetarian or vegan option. My favorite here is the leek dish with barley and samjang sauce. It comes with soybean paste soup with cabbage and of course two kinds of kimchi. Your family can enjoy the non vegan options at the same time. If you take them to only plant based place someone always wants "meat" so this place is the best of both worlds! Vegetarian options: Just tell the server no meat and they can make what you want.
Great restaurant! The menu has a lot of options, but organized in a way that it doesn’t feel overwhelming. Everything we ordered was amazing. Don’t miss out on the boiled dumplings!
Omg this place was soooo gooood!!! Best kalguksoo/sujebi i tasted in LA I tried kimch clam soup this time, but will try plane one next time, since its flavor is more clear. Love it.Food: 5/5
Excellent noodle spot. Very busy. The cold noodle soup here is the best in K-town! Kal guk-su definitely a lot of competition around. Great friendly staff in a busy busy Korean restaurant!!!
It's uncomfortable to eat when this restaurant is known, but... The best of Korean clam noodles Shellfish are always fresh and of the highest quality The best noodle to clear up after a drink The kimchi kkakdugi is also very delicious.
So, this place serves top notch authentic hardcore Korean food!!! You might find many unfamiliar Korean food here, and it’s because their food is what you’ll find in old town restaurants in Korea rather than what you typically find in popular Korean food restaurants here in the States. The food they serve is basically what I grew up eating and what my grandparents would enjoy without complaining We got veggie bibimbap and anchovy broth kimchi noodle kal jae bi. Their noodle was... exactly what I’d expect to get in Korea — homemade, authentic taste, it made my heart dance. Try their clam kalgooksoo!!! They use fresh clams and yes, you can tell there’s a BIG difference! The clams were so juicy and the broth was just perfect with the kick of spicy peppers! I’ve tried various well-known kalgooksoo places in K town, and I’ve come to know that this place serves the BEST clam kalgooksoo....!!! Picture is kimchi kalgooksoo If you are into experiencing authentic Korean food — favored through generations, try their food!
Delicious! The best ox knee soup in LA. Must try!
Ordered the clam kalkuksu soup to-go and brought it home for lunch. It’s nice, flavorful bowl of soup with fresh chewy noodles—what more could you ask for on a nice Friday afternoon? They give you a lot of clams. You can tell this is a local fav—the place was packed even during lunch hour. Parking can be tight like anywhere else in K-town, so just a heads up!
Hot noodles soup, very popular Korean restaurant.
