If you are looking for someone who will consider your personal situation and not just act as an administrative assistant for the court system then this is the attorney you want. Mr. Upton was amazing at looking at our situation and finding a strategy to minimize the damage done by poor decision making. Of the attorneys we spoke to, there were many qualified ones but he was the only one who showed a willingness to fight on our behalf. He was available outside standard office hours and treated us beautifully. I have zero hesitations in recommending him.

AMAZING!  All lawyers are not liars and money hungry.  I gave Mr. Upton a call hoping to find a lawyer who could help me with some really tough circumstances. I told him my situation, he listened intently, and blew my mind when he said "I like money but I wouldn't feel comfortable telling you i can do something that im not fairly certain I can do".  He could have took my money to the bank but he left me with only some great advice. A lawyer with integrity. My only regret is there isn't six stars because he would get that from me.

I was dealing with a frustrating case and needed a lawyer last minute. Michael Upton was one of only two lawyers who even bothered to contact me, and the only one able and willing to help at such last minute. He was very patient and professional, and having access to his cell number was convenient. I was incredibly stressed about this case for a number of reasons, but Mr. Upton was able to keep me calm and provide the help I needed, at a price I could reasonably afford.

So happy we used him.  Our daughter had a criminal issue while a student at  Bama.  He stopped it before it even started.  Knows the courts and the system.  Great attorney, and I'm an attorney too!! Highly recommend!  Very accessible and thoroughly explains everything!!!
