Story

Michael's Hair Designers is a full service salon and spa. We have 10 Illinois State Licensed Cosmetologists who specialize in everything from hair styling, up-dos, color, cuts, body work, and ethnic hair. Michael's owner and staff are dedicated to their art, and stay on top of current trends in all areas of cosmetology. Our staff is well educated and holds themselves to a high standard unmatched anywhere in the area. The staff attends classes to advance their skills every year, and they are dedicated to bringing their clients the newest colors, cuts, and designs. Our staff is proud of the combined 150+ years of experience at making the best in you!


With our three floors of salon and spa space, we are sure to provide you with exactly what you need and to fit your lifestyle. Our main floor offers everything to design hair: specializing in foiling, color, creative perms, and a consultation with every design cut. The basement is designed only for children with 3 hydraulic character chairs featuring a race car, lion, and tractor. Finally, our third floor is dedicated to the body. We offer pedicures, manicures, acrylic nails, full body waxing, skin care, facials, glycolic peels, makeovers, and ear piercing.
