My boyfriend had been going to Epic Shave in Morton and getting great haircuts and beard trims, albeit they were a bit pricey and took over an hour to complete since it was a full barbershop experience. Unfortunately Mary the owner decided to close her doors and pursue a different career, which put us in the market for a new barber. 

We found Michel's in Pekin. Hands down, the best haircut and beard trim he has ever received. He was in and out very quickly as a walk-in and the price was remarkably more affordable than other places. They also use and sell Suavecito products, which he really likes. He will be returning to Michel's as a regular for sure.

It's the only place I feel comfortable going. I drive in about 40 minutes to get my hair cut. Both of the barbers do a great job cutting my hair and trimming my beard.

Fantastic shop! Nice cuts done by some solid guys. Not your traditional Barbershop.  Where else can you hear Pantera playing while getting a cut?
