I don't have an easy Tax return as I have to file an S-corp, Schedule C and personal return... I've been using Michele L Brenner & co for 7 years now. Always fast and efficient. I have to drive 80+ miles round trip to there office, its always well worth it. They also take care of my payroll. I suggest everyone go on Doughnut day too... Free donuts while your taxes are being done... Can't beat that!

Brenner and Company is a great CPA firm who will advise you correctly on all of your tax needs. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are quick to respond to questions and return your taxes quickly. I have used them as my accountanting form for years. Would recommend them to everyone.

Unfortunately, our experience with Michelle L Brenner & company CPA left us with penalties and interest fees from both the State of Oklahoma and the IRS. To begin with the return in question contained a single 1099. Since we had to obtain a corrected 1099, it was turned in only a couple of days prior to April 15, 2016. This company had already completed two other returns for different people within our household, so this issue was not a surprise and we were reassured that there would not be a problem as the company would file the necessary extension paperwork. The company had our information for six months. Upon many occasions that we contacted the company during this time we were told that they were working on it and that the extension deadline was October 15. Finally on October 14 we were told that our forms were finished and that we owed approximately $5000.00, a complete surprise. In addition we were charged $400.00 for the service. A little over a month later we received a letter from the IRS stating that we owned $1200.00 in penalties and interest. To our surprise we learned that the Michelle L Brenner & Company had failed to file the extension paper work, and the deadline for extension was actually September 15, not October 15. In addition upon inquiring with another professional service we learned that Michelle L Brenner had actually filed the return wrong resulting in us having to have our personal taxes re-figured and re-submitted. When we brought these error to the attention of Michelle L Brenner and requested our $400.00 back since her services were incorrect and costly, she said she would have to think about it and would let us know. We have not heard from her since. We are filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau. I implore anyone to reconsider using this company. If not for their incompetence but their lack of concern regarding their obvious mistakes and their impact on our family.
