Story

MSA is a charter school focused on providing a college preparatory curriculum with an intense concentration in Music, Drama, Dance, Film Production and the Visual and Media Arts! All the arts are integrated into the core academic subjects.

Mission

Michigan School for the Arts (MSA) uses the arts to energize learning through creative opportunities to achieve personal and academic success. MSA’s students will be prepared to succeed in higher education and contribute actively in the community.

The School Sucks. I had a daughter who went there for 2 years and the experience was horrible. She made lots of friends but the environment is bad for an student. The teachers are rude, inconsiderate and false accuse kids of things that wasn't their fault. I wouldn't recommend this school for ANYONE! Pontiac Highschool/middle is far better than this school. The only thing that made this school stay open as long as it does is Ms Hayes and I "commend" her for that. Thanks ms Hayes for EVERYTHING!!

Omg,  my daughter went there and it was absouletly terrible!! The food is nasty , and they made me pay for her lunch and she didnt even eat it! They had bed bugs, rude teachers, and broken books! I even got into a accident into the light pole from ice and hurt my neck so i had to take time of work!!

Teacher's look stressed. The children run the school. Miss Hayes and Mr. Howard are awesome but, thats just 2 people. To much drama between teachers. Teachers like Mr. Bean cursing and making fun of students when he is suppose to be an example for children. I over heard the janitor cursing about a parent and her daughter to a friend on the phone standing outside the school as if I wasn't there. Just so unprofessional. My daughter came to me a few times saying Mr. Bean wants my number. When I made a complaint I didnt even recieve a call back. I can go on and on. It sucks for the few awesome people that are there.
