Founded by educators more than 60 years ago, MSGCU now has more than 109,000 members in Michigan – and we are dedicated to helping them achieve financial success.

As a not-for-profit financial institution, we return revenue to members by providing lower loan rates and higher savings rates. Our scope of membership is broad and includes educational and government employees, students and alumni, retirees, and family members of these groups, as well as residents of lower Michigan.
