Stan is a nice guy, and I enjoyed meeting with him to handle my divorce. But he is very slow to take action when it comes to protecting children. I had complained about problems experienced with my son after staying with his mother -- school attendance, fearful to return to her home, etc. -- and Stan did nothing to help. When I hired a new attorney in Kern County, she found that my ex-wife had a felon living in the home, the police had responded to her residence numerous times on disturbing the peace and domestic violence calls, etc. She obtained emergency protective orders in two days, and I have had full custody ever since. Stan sent an exorbitant final bill and refused to specify the services rendered upon request. Very disappointing for a certified specialist.
