I ordered a laptop from Microsoft on Oct 2, 2017 with extra charge for one-day shipping. I received a package but it was a completely different device than what I ordered. I called customer service right away, telling them I needed my laptop as soon as possible for work. The guy over the phone just promised to get back in 2 days, which I told him again that I needed the laptop as soon as possible and that was why I'd paid extra for the shipping. He said there was nothing he could do besides escalating this issue. I called again and talked to a different rep by the name of Grace over the phone. Now she said the laptop that I ordered was out of stock (but somehow my purchase went through and they took my money). She asked me to spend more money to get a better, more expensive laptop. A 10% discount off the unit was offered to me with free shipping. She said that she had to charge me the full amount first before processing a refund for the difference and also the shipping fee. I waited for two full weeks until Oct 16 to call and follow up because other than sending me the second unit (which I'd paid full price for), none of the promises were fulfilled by Microsoft. My first order was refunded but without the shipping cost, and I only got 5% off the second unit refunded instead of the promised 10%. The only response that I got when I called was they would escalate it again and I had to wait for another 24 hours. I called back the next day just to hear them say they would escalate this again. I finally managed to speak to a manager by the name of Nick (he repeatedly refused to provide his full name), who told me they were NOT going to fulfill their promise after all and there was no point in calling them. Nick denied any knowledge of the 10% discount that was promised to me, even though the person I'd spoken with the previous day had told me it was written in the notes for this case. I hope someone can help me to get this resolved. This is supposed to be easy. I was just trying to buy a laptop. I made the payment and it was all supposed to be done the next day. Instead, more than two weeks later, I still don't have all the refunds promised to me, even after wasting multiple hours on the phone with customer service. I'm disappointed, frustrated, and I don't think I'll make another purchase from Microsoft again. It's not worth the trouble.

I bought the top of the line Surface Studio at this store location. The sales rep has informed me that the mini-Display port would work as an input, but unfortunately I found that was not the case when I ran the machine through its paces. For a nearly $7000 purchase, I was a little spooked when I heard rumors that some Microsoft Stores charge a 10% re-shelving fee. It turns out Metrotown does not charge this "restock" fee. The box I returned my items in had a few dings in it too and they gladly accepted it (product was undamaged of course). The customer service I got when I had to return the item was absolutely top notch. I was very impressed. Despite the machine not doing exactly what I really needed, I would not hesitate to return to this store and buy the next Surface Studio that comes out if it has either this mini-Display input option or beefier hardware. I usually don't write reviews, but I have to say I was very impressed and have no hesitation about continuing to buy from this store.

Good store. Nice layout and good third party products on display. Biggest complaint is trying to phone the store. Have fun navigating through the robot voices! You have little chance of speaking to a live voice, and you will never accomplish that goal in under 2 minutes, so be forewarned.

I brought in my computer to have it look at and fix because it was not working at all. I came back 6 days to pick up my computer and the same problem was never fixed. The store Manager Thyago and the technician are completely clueless. They beat around the bush with plenty of excuses but no real concrete solution. I do not recommend anyone to come to this store not because of my bad experience but because of their incompetence and inexperience. Everyone of their staffs in the store try so hard to look smart but technically they really have no clue what the hell they are doing. They are very good are bluffing and selling their products but beyond that I believe they are inexperience and deceitful. I really regret buying my second Microsoft product at this store about 4 weeks ago. I would never shop here ever again. Beware all consumers, you are walking into a lion's den here.

had to make an exchange on my xps the person that dealt with the exchange was amazing was apologetic for the error in the system though it was not his fault did everything to ensure I was happy with my purchase even before I asked for anything. highly recommend my friends to make their purchases specifically HERE this is my first purchase from Microsoft - very impressed
