I gave this 5 stars, not because it's fancy, but because it is SO hard to find a hotel without pet hair in room.  They allow pets here but put me on an upper floor that was cleaned so well I had no problem at all.  Very easy to get to anywhere.  Bed was Super comfortable.  Bathtub great & clean.  We will stay here whenever we are in Pueblo.  Loved the t.v. guide, easy to see what was coming up.  Thin walls but my neighbors were quiet enough.

The Microtel is located right off the interstate which is pretty convenient. The room we stayed in had 2 queen beds. There's no mini fridge in the room, but they is a coffee pot. Our room was non smoking, but we could still smell heavy smoke due to all the rooms around us being smoking rooms. Our toilet was leaking when we got here, but as soon as we let the front desk know they got it fixed pretty quickly. The wifi is open with a password they give you on your key card, but it didn't want to work with our MacBook for some reason. The breakfast in the lobby is pretty good. They serve waffles, pancakes, cereal, toast, and bagels. Overall our stay was pretty good. There were just a couple little details that brought the experience down a little though.

The room was straightened- not cleaned. There was stuff on the floor still. No one had vacuumed. There was also part of a marijuana wrapper on the bathroom floor. Not swept either. The front desk girl was rude and didn't want to offer any helpful information. You get  what you pay for, I guess. The breakfast is okay but the staff wasn't timely on keeping it stocked so that everyone could enjoy what was being offered and not just half. Hotel has potential. Maybe it just needs new management.

Traveling for business and the office made the reservation. We were told they didn't have all our rooms and that we needed the company credit card to make any changes. Took quite a while but finally we got everyone a room. Then the day before we're supposed to check out they gave one of our rooms away while the guys were working. Very disorganized. Clean rooms but the front desk is confused at best. Just found out they double billed us too.

Good, but for the price was too expensive.  It was ghetto fab.  The bad, $150 was expensive for the room "special event pricing".  The building looks run down and rooms are dated.  My room had musty smell.  Bathroom door was broken and could not be locked.   I question if there were walls because you could hear your all your neighbors' conversations.  Free breakfast seemed to be out for those who get up later. The good, it had a mini fridge that could fit Little Cesar's Pizza.  They had plenty of plugs to charge up electronics.  The bed was clean and comfortable.  The little room was accommodating and had right furniture for a comfortable stay.  It appeared to be pet friendly.  Staff was always friendly.
