Story

Mid Oregon has branches in Bend (2), La Pine, Redmond, Prineville, Madras—and a brand new branch in Sisters! More than 800,000 surcharge-free ATMs are in the network available to Mid Oregon members.

Mid Oregon is first and foremost a Credit Union! The credit union movement’s original motto, “not for profit, not for charity, but for service”, accurately describes our purpose. While positive net income is critical for fiscal viability, Mid Oregon Credit Union places its major focus on service. Exceptional service, friendliness, member-centric cooperative structure and volunteerism distinguish us from other financial institutions. We provide an environment that promotes the economic well-being of our members.

Brand:
Our brand represents the promise we make to our members, a guarantee of service and value. As with any promise, it implies a relationship. It tells our members, public, vendors and business partners what to expect from us. Our brand tells others how we are relevant to their lives, and how we are different from other financial institutions. In short, our brand suggests to the world how to perceive us, possibly before they've even experienced our service for themselves.

As the only credit union headquartered and doing business solely in Central Oregon, we recognize and share in a corporate social responsibility to our communities and residents. Mid Oregon Credit union has been recognized as an exceptional credit union in the area of social responsibility evidenced by its winning of the statewide Dora Maxwell award for nine years running. We have accomplished this through our actions and strong belief in contributing to the community with both time and financial resources.
